Indoor & outdoor fireworks
We classify pyro into three different classifications: PSE, Consumer Fireworks and GV.
PSE
PSE stands for Pyrotechnic Special Effects (also known as theatre and stage fireworks).
PSE is professional fireworks, which are not suitable for private use. Most of the PSE effects are designed for use indoors and in places where the safety distance is limited. Due to the high safety requirements and the clean combustion of the effects, this is extremely suitable for a wide range of applications at any type of event. The PSE category extends further to include larger and higher effects, with the safety distance increasing proportionately to ensure safety.
Consumer fireworks
Consumer fireworks are fireworks that have been classified by the government as suitable for private use. The effects fall within certain values such as diameter and net gunpowder weight. These fireworks can only be sold and lighted privately within the given timeframes. Outside these time periods, this type of fireworks may only be used by certified companies. Pyrofoor also likes to use this kind of fireworks. Through a smart choice of A-quality effects and "Spot-On" programming, these effects deliver beautiful images for outdoor events.
GV
GV stands for “Groot Vuurwerk” (Large Fireworks).
This third classification consists of pyro effects of the heaviest kind. GV fireworks are professional fireworks, which are not suitable for private use. These effects can often be recognised by their high height of rise and a large “break” load. This varies from cake boxes that have higher values than are permitted for consumer fireworks to perhaps the best-known example: Shells (mortars). Shells have a height of rise of up to 300 meters and an effect “break” (diameter) of up to 250 meters! GV can literally take a fireworks show to the next level!
